ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – New Jersey online casinos won $276.9 million in July, closing within $27.3 million of the $304.2 million won on Atlantic City’s nine casino floors, the Division of Gaming Enforcement’s July revenue report shows. The same July gap ran $36.8 million a year earlier.
The Floors Held July, By Less
The division’s July revenue report shows internet gaming win growing 12% from $247.3 million in July 2025, against 7.1% growth for the casino floors, from $284.1 million. At those rates, the floors’ midsummer margin thinned by roughly a quarter in a single year.
The two columns are not separate industries. Every internet gaming brand in the report operates under one of the nine Atlantic City casino licenses, the structure that governs online gambling sites for USA players in the state, so the shift moves money within the same licensees rather than away from them.
Internet Win Leads The Year, Up 14.5%
Through seven months, internet gaming win totals $1.87 billion, up 14.5% from $1.63 billion a year earlier, while casino win stands at $1.72 billion, up 3.1%. July’s result trimmed the New Jersey online casino market’s lead for the year but left it intact.
Counting casinos, racetracks and their partners together, July’s total gaming revenue reached $678.1 million, an 11.9% gain on the $606.2 million reported a year earlier. Seven months in, that combined figure stands at $4.20 billion, up 6.9% from $3.92 billion. The state collected $92.2 million in gross revenue taxes for the month and $592.7 million through July.
Sports Wagering Adds $97 Million
Sports wagering gross revenue reached $97.0 million in July, up 29.7% from $74.8 million, even as the year-to-date figure for New Jersey online sportsbooks and their retail counterparts sits 2.7% lower at $609.9 million.
The division’s August report will show whether the floors hold the monthly lead through the rest of the summer.
