WSOP.com Poker Review

WSOP.com is the online poker room carrying the World Series of Poker brand in the regulated United States, and in 2026 it holds a distinction no rival can match: it is the only US operator that pools players across four separate states. Since April 28, 2025, hands dealt on WSOP Online combine Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan into a single player pool, giving the room the widest legal liquidity footprint in the country. This review breaks down the shared network, the flagship WSOP Online Bracelet Series, the bonus and rewards structure, the aging 888-built software, and who actually owns the brand versus operates the site. The biggest, most storied legal US poker room
Overview

WSOP Online at a Glance

WSOP Online is operated by Caesars Entertainment, runs on 888poker’s Poker 8 platform, and traces its US real-money history to September 2013. There is one wrinkle almost every rival review gets wrong, and it is worth stating up front: Caesars operates the room, but it no longer owns the World Series of Poker brand. In October 2024, NSUS Group, the parent company of GGPoker, bought the WSOP name and intellectual property from Caesars for 500 million dollars, while Caesars retained a perpetual license to keep operating WSOP Online in its four US states. In day-to-day terms nothing changed, but the ownership split is the single most important structural fact about this room in 2026.

That combination of the sport’s most famous brand, a deep-pocketed operator, and a longer track record than any competitor is the story of this room. It is not the flashiest software on the market, and hardcore grinders have complaints, but no other legal US room lets a player in Detroit sit at the same virtual felt as a player in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Philadelphia. For most American poker players, WSOP Online is either the only real-money option available or the one with the biggest guaranteed prize pools. Here is the full picture.

Our Verdict & Scorecard

Our Verdict on WSOP.com

WSOP Online is defined by one unmatched advantage and one persistent weakness. The advantage is scale: the only four-state shared pool in regulated US poker, the only source of real online WSOP bracelets, seven-figure guarantees and the trust of a Caesars-backed operator dating to 2013. The weakness is a stable but dated 888 client with limited HUD support. For the great majority of players who can access it, especially tournament players and Nevada residents, those trade-offs land firmly in WSOP’s favor.

The score below comes from our how we rate methodology. For regulated US poker we weight player-pool liquidity, tournament value, trust and security most heavily, while software and mobile round out the picture.

Legality

Where WSOP.com Is Legal and Who Regulates It

WSOP Online is available for real money in four US states in 2026. Each state licenses and regulates the site through its own gaming authority, and a player must be physically inside a licensed state and at least 21 years old to play. Geolocation software checks location on every login. Here is the state-by-state breakdown with the responsible regulator.

StateRegulatorReal-money launchIn shared pool?
NevadaNevada Gaming Control BoardSeptember 19, 2013Yes
New JerseyNew Jersey Division of Gaming EnforcementNovember 2013Yes
PennsylvaniaPennsylvania Gaming Control BoardJuly 2021Yes (since April 28, 2025)
MichiganMichigan Gaming Control BoardMarch 2022Yes (since May 2024)

A few points worth stressing. In Nevada, WSOP.com is effectively the only real-money online poker room standing, which makes it the default choice for the entire state. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan it competes against other licensed rooms, most notably the PokerStars and BetMGM networks, but it is the only one of the three brands whose player pool now reaches across all four legal markets at once.

These four are the only states where you can play WSOP Online for real money in 2026. The room is not available in California, Texas, Florida, New York or any other state, because those states have not legalized regulated online poker. If you want to understand the broader legal landscape, see our guide to whether online gambling is legal in the US. For state-specific detail, we maintain dedicated pages on Nevada online poker, New Jersey online poker, Pennsylvania online poker and Michigan online poker.

Liquidity

The Four-State Shared Network: WSOP’s Defining Feature

The only four-state pool in US online poker

Since April 28, 2025, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan feed a single WSOP player pool of roughly 35 million residents — the widest legal liquidity footprint in the country.

The single most important thing to understand about WSOP Online in 2026 is its shared liquidity. Most people who play regulated US online poker are stuck inside their own state’s borders, playing only against neighbors. WSOP.com broke that wall further than anyone. Its player pool combines four states under the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, or MSIGA, an interstate compact that lets participating states legally merge their online poker traffic.

MSIGA is the legal machinery; WSOP.com is the operator that has pushed it furthest. The agreement allows regulated poker operators to treat multiple member states as one market for the purpose of dealing cards and building prize pools. Delaware and West Virginia are also members of the broader compact, but WSOP does not yet run in either, so its active real-money four-state pool in 2026 is Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Combined, those four states hold roughly 35 million residents, and that population is what fills WSOP’s tables and inflates its guarantees. West Virginia is a plausible next target for the network, since it is already an MSIGA member and gained its first regulated online poker in 2025, but WSOP has announced no plans to expand there, so treat it as a possibility rather than a roadmap.

WSOP built this network in stages, and being first at each step is central to the brand’s identity:

  • May 1, 2018 — WSOP.com merged its Nevada and New Jersey player pools, becoming the first US operator ever to share online poker liquidity across state lines. This was the proof of concept for the entire multi-state model.
  • May 2024 — WSOP connected Michigan into the existing Nevada plus New Jersey pool, the first time three regulated states were combined on one real-money site. The room also leaned into its WSOP Online branding around this period.
  • April 28, 2025 — WSOP merged Pennsylvania into the network, creating the first and only four-state regulated online poker pool in US history. If you have read older reviews claiming Pennsylvania players are walled off in a separate pool, that information is now out of date.

Why does this matter to you as a player? Liquidity is the lifeblood of online poker. More players in the pool means more cash tables running at more stakes around the clock, larger tournament fields, and bigger guaranteed prize pools that can actually be met. A player logging in from Pittsburgh in 2026 is no longer limited to other Pennsylvanians; that same lobby is populated by grinders from Las Vegas, recreational players from the Jersey Shore, and Michiganders playing after work in Grand Rapids. This is the mechanical reason WSOP Online consistently ranks at or near the top of US-regulated traffic, and it is the one advantage no single-state or smaller-network rival can copy without joining MSIGA itself.

History

WSOP.com Launch Timeline

WSOP.com has the longest continuous history of any real-money online poker room operating in the regulated US, and that history explains the room’s brand equity and its dated-but-battle-tested software.

Sep 2013
WSOP.com goes live in Nevada, launched by Caesars Interactive in partnership with 888, among the very first legal US real-money sites. Ultimate Poker had launched a few months earlier but folded, leaving WSOP.com as the enduring Nevada room.
Nov 2013
WSOP launches in New Jersey alongside the state’s broader online gaming rollout, under a separate state license.
May 2018
Nevada and New Jersey pools merge — the first interstate shared liquidity in US online poker.
Jul 2021
WSOP launches in Pennsylvania as a standalone, ring-fenced state at first.
Mar 2022
WSOP.com goes live in Michigan.
May 2024
Michigan connects to the Nevada plus New Jersey pool, forming a three-state network.
Apr 2025
Pennsylvania joins, completing the four-state shared pool that defines the room today.

That is more than a decade of continuous operation under the same brand and the same underlying 888 software. Longevity cuts both ways: it means proven reliability and a trusted name, but it also means the client shows its age next to newer competitors, a point we return to in the software section.

By State

WSOP Online State by State

Although all four states now feed one shared pool, the experience and competitive context differ by market. Here is how WSOP Online sits in each.

NV

Nevada

WSOP’s home and stronghold. In 2026 it is effectively the only real-money room in the state, making it the default and often sole choice. It is where the brand launched in 2013 and where the live World Series is held each summer. The trade-off: the state-specific free-play portion of the welcome bonus was discontinued there in 2024.

NJ

New Jersey

One of the most mature regulated markets in the country, giving WSOP a deep, established player base against a field that includes the PokerStars and BetMGM networks. New Jersey players have enjoyed shared liquidity the longest, since the 2018 merger with Nevada, so the room is well-worn and reliable here.

PA

Pennsylvania

The newest addition to the pool and, by population, a major boost to overall liquidity. Pennsylvania spent nearly four years ring-fenced after its 2021 launch before connecting in April 2025. That merge was transformational, turning a modest in-state pool into access to the biggest fields and guarantees in US online poker overnight.

MI

Michigan

Michigan brought the Midwest into the network when it connected in 2024 and remains one of the more competitive regulated markets, with WSOP, PokerStars and BetMGM all active. Michigan players get the full four-state pool and the complete tournament and bracelet schedule.

Getting Started

How to Get Started at WSOP Online

Signing up is straightforward, but there are real-money regulatory steps you should expect. Here is the process from account creation to your first hand:

  • Confirm you qualify. You must be at least 21 years old and physically present in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Michigan. Residency is not required, only physical presence, so a visitor to Las Vegas can play in Nevada even if they live elsewhere.
  • Register an account. Create your login on the state-appropriate WSOP site or app and provide your legal name, mailing address, date of birth and the last four of your Social Security number for identity and age verification. This is standard KYC compliance required by every state regulator, not a WSOP quirk.
  • Install geolocation. On desktop you install a geolocation plugin; on mobile the app uses your device location. The software confirms you are inside a licensed state on every login and periodically during play. If you cross a state line or your location cannot be verified, you will be blocked from real-money play until you are back in a legal state.
  • Deposit and claim the bonus. Fund your account with a minimum of 10 dollars using any supported method and opt in to the welcome offer to start the deposit match clock.
  • Sit down. Head to the cash-game or tournament lobby and take a seat. New players are dropped into a recreational-friendly environment, and the room’s soft-game reputation means the average table is more forgiving than the grinder-heavy pools of some offshore rooms.

Two practical notes. First, expect to clear a one-time identity check before your first withdrawal even if your account was approved at sign-up. Second, because each state is a separate license, an account created in one state does not automatically carry your balance to another; your funds and play history are tied to the jurisdiction where you registered, even though the players you face are pooled across all four.

Tournaments

The WSOP Online Bracelet Series: The Flagship Attraction

The reason to choose WSOP Online over any rival, if tournaments are your game, comes down to two words: gold bracelets. WSOP.com is the only US online poker room that awards genuine World Series of Poker bracelets, the most coveted trophy in the sport, in events you can win from your couch. No other regulated US operator can offer this, because no other operator holds the license to run WSOP-branded events. This is the room’s crown jewel and its single strongest differentiator in US online poker.

Winning one online is the real thing, not a novelty. You outlast a multi-day, multi-thousand-entry field entirely on the WSOP.com client, and the prize is the same physical gold bracelet, engraved and mailed to you, that a champion collects at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas each summer. The winner’s name enters the official WSOP bracelet record alongside live champions, which is why serious tournament players treat an online bracelet as a genuine career line rather than a consolation.

The online bracelet concept dates to 2015, when WSOP awarded its first-ever bracelet through an online tournament. Anthony “casedismissed” Spinella won that inaugural event for 197,743 dollars, topping a 905-player field in what was then the largest regulated online poker tournament in US history. That first edition was a hybrid, with the bulk played online and the final six meeting for a live final table at the Rio. A decade later, entire series are contested and completed online, and the fields are several times larger, a direct measure of how far regulated US online poker and WSOP’s shared network have come.

The WSOP Online Bracelet Series runs on the domestic four-state network, separate from the international bracelet events that WSOP runs on the GGPoker network for players outside the US. The domestic series has historically run in two waves, a summer edition that overlaps with the live WSOP in Las Vegas and a fall edition later in the year.

2025 Series: The First Full Four-State Bracelets

2025 was a milestone year because it was the first time all four states competed together for bracelets, producing some of the largest online bracelet fields the domestic series has ever seen.

  • The 2025 summer online series ran from May 31 through July 15, 2025, and featured 30 bracelet-awarding events. It was the first online series in which players from all four states competed in the same events, which drove record-sized fields.
  • The 2025 fall online series ran September 28 through November 11, 2025, with 33 online bracelet events, more than 10 million dollars in combined guarantees, and buy-ins ranging from 250 dollars to 3,200 dollars. The schedule was built for accessibility: 23 events were priced below 1,000 dollars, seven events sat at the 1,000-dollar mark, and three High Roller events ran at 2,000 dollars or higher.

On top of the cash prizes, every 2025 fall bracelet winner also earned a 5,000-dollar WSOP Paradise package, which bundled hotel accommodation and an entry into the Mystery Bounty Circuit Championship at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. That kind of overlay, a live destination package stapled onto an online bracelet, is a Caesars and WSOP calling card that pure-play online rooms cannot replicate.

Record-Breaking Fields and Seven-Figure Prize Pools

Taken together, WSOP.com’s tournaments have paid out more than 100 million dollars in prize money since the room launched in 2013, a scale no other regulated US room can claim. The pooled four-state liquidity has pushed several individual online bracelet events past the one-million-dollar prize-pool mark, a threshold that was once out of reach for US-regulated online poker.

$100M+
Total prizes paid since 2013
5,185
Entries in a single $250 event ($1.17M pool)
$1.04M
$3,200 High Roller prize pool (345 entries)

Recent series produced multiple seven-figure events, including a 250-dollar buy-in event with a 1 million dollar guarantee that drew 5,185 entries for a 1,166,625-dollar prize pool, a 600-dollar buy-in event that attracted 1,872 entries for a 1,010,800-dollar prize pool, and a 3,200-dollar No-Limit Hold’em High Roller that drew 345 entries for a 1,035,000-dollar prize pool. A room limited to a single state simply cannot assemble a 5,000-plus-entry field at a 250-dollar buy-in, nor guarantee a million dollars and comfortably beat it. WSOP Online can, and does, several times per series.

2026 Series and Mystery Bounties

The 2026 domestic online bracelet schedule continued the same formula, built around roughly 30 events with a combined guarantee in the multi-million-dollar range and a heavy emphasis on the Mystery Bounty format that has become one of poker’s most popular structures. Mystery Bounty events, in which each knockout awards a randomly drawn cash prize from a pool that can include a single enormous top bounty, appear as marquee attractions with seven-figure guarantees. Because WSOP schedules shift year to year, always check the live schedule inside the client or on the operator’s site for the current series dates, buy-ins and guarantees before planning around them.

Domestic Bracelets vs the International GGPoker Series

One point of frequent confusion is worth clearing up. WSOP runs two entirely separate online bracelet series each year: the domestic series on WSOP.com’s own four-state US network, and a much larger international series hosted on the GGPoker network for players in eligible countries outside the regulated US. They share the WSOP name and award real bracelets, but they are different platforms with different fields, buy-ins and prize pools.

The scale gap is enormous. The international GGPoker WSOP Online series has recently awarded 33 bracelets with buy-ins spanning 100 dollars to 25,000 dollars and a headline Main Event carrying a 25 million dollar guarantee at a 5,000-dollar buy-in, with each bracelet winner also collecting a 30,000-dollar Super Pass to WSOP Paradise. Those numbers dwarf the domestic series because GGPoker draws from a global player pool. US players in the four legal states cannot enter the GGPoker events; they play the domestic WSOP.com series, where the biggest guarantees run into the low millions rather than tens of millions. It is the same trophy, but the domestic bracelet is the one within reach for a legal US player, and it is still the only online bracelet any American in a regulated state can win from home.

Beyond the Bracelets: Everyday Tournaments

The bracelet series are the headline, but WSOP Online runs a full daily and weekly tournament calendar year-round. Regular guaranteed tournaments, a weekly Sunday major, Mystery Bounty events, satellites feeding both online bracelets and live WSOP seats, and turbo and hyper formats fill out the schedule. Satellites deserve a special mention: because Caesars operates both the online room and the live World Series in Las Vegas, WSOP.com is a natural feeder for live WSOP Main Event and Circuit seats, letting online qualifiers win their way into the biggest live poker stage in the world.

Cash Games

Cash-Game Traffic and How WSOP.com Ranks

Tournaments generate the headlines, but cash-game liquidity is where the shared network earns its keep day to day. WSOP Online is one of the busiest regulated US cash-game networks, and in Nevada it is essentially the only game in town.

~1,200
Average concurrent cash players
~2,500
Peak concurrent cash players
~400
Cash tables running at busy hours

Third-party lobby-tracking estimates place WSOP.com’s cash traffic at roughly 1,200 average concurrent cash players and around 2,500 at peak, spread across approximately 400 running cash tables at busy hours, with the trend pointing upward as the four-state pool matures. These are estimates derived from observable lobby data rather than official operator figures, so treat them as ballpark rather than audited, but they consistently rank WSOP among the top US-regulated networks by cash traffic. In practice it typically sits second among US-regulated rooms behind the PokerStars network in the states where both operate, while standing alone as the top and only real-money room in Nevada.

Timing matters. Like all US-facing networks, WSOP Online sees its heaviest concurrency from late evening through midnight Eastern, roughly the 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. window, when players across all four time-shifted states overlap. During those peak East Coast evening hours you will find the deepest tables and the widest spread of stakes. Traffic thins in the early-morning hours, but because the pool draws from four states, tables keep running through most of the day rather than going dead at off-peak times the way a single-state room can.

On stakes: cash games run from micro buy-ins on up. On weekdays the reliably populated ceiling is around 5 dollars/10 dollars No-Limit Hold’em, while higher stakes such as 10 dollars/25 dollars and 25 dollars/50 dollars spread up during peak evening and weekend hours when the shared pool is at its fullest. The busiest, most consistently full tables are the low and mid stakes, from 0.25 dollars/0.50 dollars up through 2 dollars/5 dollars, where recreational and semi-serious players cluster. If you are a nosebleed specialist, WSOP is not built for you; if you play anywhere from micro to mid stakes, the action is dependable.

Games

Poker Games and Formats Offered

WSOP Online concentrates its offering on the games American players actually want, and has trimmed some niche variants over the years. In 2026 the core lineup is:

NLH

No-Limit Hold’em

The backbone of the room in both cash and tournament formats, from micro stakes to the highest games that run.

PLO

Pot-Limit Omaha

The second-most-popular game, available in both the standard four-card version and the increasingly popular five-card (PLO5) version.

Hi-Lo

Omaha Hi-Lo (PLO Hi-Lo)

Split-pot Omaha for the mixed-game inclined.

JSG

Jackpot Sit and Gos

WSOP’s lottery-style, three-handed hyper-turbo format where the prize pool is randomly multiplied before play — the room’s fast, casual, mobile-friendly product.

MTT

MTTs and Sit and Gos

A full daily and weekly schedule across buy-in levels, plus the flagship bracelet events described above.

Note that Seven-Card Stud and dedicated mixed-game rotations, once part of the WSOP menu, are no longer regularly spread in the real-money client. If your game is Stud, Razz, or a fixed mixed rotation like H.O.R.S.E., WSOP Online is not the room for it in 2026. Cash tables run predominantly six-handed. For heads-up and full-ring specialists, availability is thinner and depends on peak traffic.

Rake

How Rake Works at WSOP Online

Rake is the house’s cut, and understanding WSOP’s structure helps you gauge your real cost of playing. In cash games, the rake is a small percentage taken from each pot, scaled to the stakes, the pot size and the number of players dealt into the hand. WSOP’s cash rake generally runs in the range of roughly 3 percent up to about 5.56 percent depending on the stake, with the higher percentages applied at the smallest micro stakes and lower percentages at bigger games, and it is capped so that large pots are not raked disproportionately. A player-friendly detail: no rake is taken from any hand that ends during the first betting round before the flop, so pots that are won pre-flop cost you nothing in rake. The full rake and cap tables for each stake are published in the client’s rake-and-limits section, which is worth reviewing if you grind a specific stake.

In tournaments, the fee is fixed and transparent rather than a percentage of pots. Every buy-in is displayed as an “A plus B” figure, where the first number is the amount that goes into the prize pool and the second is the entry fee retained by the house. A 100-dollar tournament shown as “90 plus 10,” for example, contributes 90 dollars to the prizes and charges a 10-dollar fee. This up-front, itemized model is the industry standard and makes it easy to compare the true cost of entering across events. As with any room, the smaller the buy-in the larger the fee percentage tends to be, so the lowest micro tournaments carry the steepest relative juice.

Bonus

Welcome Bonus and First-Deposit Terms

Welcome Offer
100% up to $1,000

Plus up to $100 in free play. $10 minimum deposit. Deposit match releases incrementally as you earn loyalty points; free-play portion not offered in Nevada.

Bonus CodeNone neededClaim at WSOP.com

New real-money players at WSOP Online are offered a two-part welcome package. The exact terms and the free-play component can vary by state and promotional period, so confirm the current offer at sign-up, but the standard structure in 2026 is:

  • A 100 percent first-deposit match up to 1,000 dollars. The minimum qualifying deposit is 10 dollars. The bonus does not land in your account all at once; it releases incrementally, in 10-dollar increments, as you earn loyalty points through real-money play. The clearance window is limited (commonly cited at 30 to 90 days depending on the current terms), so the deposit match rewards active players and expires for those who deposit and walk away.
  • Up to 100 dollars in free play, tiered by the size of your first deposit (roughly 25 dollars to 100 dollars in free-play tickets). The free-play portion was discontinued for Nevada players in 2024, so Nevada residents should expect the deposit match as the primary welcome offer. Some promotional periods have also included a set of Winner Spinner wheel spins.

In plain terms, the welcome offer is effectively a rakeback accelerator: the more you play, the more of the up-to-1,000-dollar match you unlock. It is a solid, industry-standard offer rather than a market-leading one, and its real value is unlocked only by players who put in genuine volume. Bonus abusers and one-and-done depositors will not extract much from it. Always read the current state-specific terms, because the free-play amounts, spin counts and clearance windows are the parts most likely to change.

Rewards

Poker Rewards: The Loyalty and Rakeback Program

Beyond the welcome bonus, ongoing value at WSOP Online comes from the Poker Rewards loyalty program, which is where regular players earn meaningful rakeback. The system is points-based: you earn Action Player Points (APPs) as you contribute rake in cash games and pay tournament fees, generally at a rate of 2 APPs per 1 dollar of rake and fees. Those points then convert to WSOP Points at a multiplier that scales with your tier, and it is that multiplier that determines your effective rakeback.

There are four tiers, and the effective cashback climbs steeply as you move up:

TierConversion rateApprox. effective rakeback
Bronze4 WSOP Points per APPAround 7.5 percent
Silver10 WSOP Points per APPMid-tier
Elite12.5 WSOP Points per APPHigh-tier
Champion Club16 WSOP Points per APPUp to around 32 percent

The headline takeaway: a casual player parked at Bronze sees roughly 7.5 percent back, which is modest, while a high-volume grinder who reaches Champion Club can earn an effective rakeback in the low-30-percent range, which is genuinely competitive with the best US-regulated programs. Points can be redeemed for tournament entries, cash bonuses and other rewards. This steep tier curve is deliberately designed to reward volume, so the program pays serious grinders far better than dabblers. If you play a lot, the difference between Bronze and Champion Club is the difference between a token rebate and a real chunk of your rake coming back.

Software

Software Review: The Poker 8 Platform

WSOP Online runs on Poker 8, the client developed by 888poker (888 Holdings), which has supplied WSOP.com’s technology since its 2013 launch. Poker 8 itself is the newer generation of that software: Michigan launched on it first, while Nevada and New Jersey ran on an older 888 client until they were upgraded to Poker 8 in 2024, unifying all four states on the same platform. That upgrade mattered for more than looks, because Poker 8 is what enabled the Mystery Bounty format that now anchors much of the tournament schedule. This is the most double-edged part of the WSOP story, so we will be direct about both sides.

What works. The client is stable, proven and easy to learn. More than a decade of continuous operation has ironed out most reliability problems; connections hold, the software rarely crashes, and the dark-themed interface is clean and intuitive for newcomers. Navigation from lobby to table is straightforward, and the platform handles the core job of dealing cards reliably. Multi-tabling is supported and dependable in the four-to-eight-table range that most players use. For a recreational player or someone new to online poker, the software is perfectly pleasant and rarely gets in the way.

What does not. The honest criticism, echoed across independent reviews, is that the software looks and feels visibly older than PokerStars’ client. It carries a dated aesthetic and lacks some of the customization, table-management refinements and quality-of-life features that grinders coming from newer or international platforms expect. HUD (heads-up display) compatibility is limited: serious players who rely on tracking software and real-time overlays will find WSOP’s support far more restrictive than the wide-open tracking environments of some offshore rooms. That is partly a deliberate integrity choice, since limiting HUDs levels the field for recreational players, but competitive regulars notice the constraint. In short, the Poker 8 client prioritizes stability and a soft, recreational-friendly environment over cutting-edge grinder tools. Whether that is a pro or a con depends entirely on which kind of player you are.

Mobile

The WSOP Mobile App

WSOP Real-Money App

Native iOS and Android apps in all four states. Cash games, the full MTT and bracelet schedule, Sit and Gos and Jackpot Sit and Gos, synced across devices. Up to four tables at once on a phone.

WSOP Online offers native real-money mobile apps for both iOS and Android in all four licensed states, and mobile is where a large and growing share of the room’s volume now happens. Do not confuse the real-money app with the separate free-to-play WSOP social poker app, which is a different product with in-app chip purchases and a global audience; the real-money app is state-restricted and requires you to be physically located in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Michigan.

On features, the real-money mobile app delivers the full room in your pocket: cash games, the complete multi-table tournament schedule including bracelet events, Sit and Gos, and Jackpot Sit and Gos, all synchronized with your account across devices so you can move between desktop and phone seamlessly. Mobile multi-tabling supports up to four tables at once on a phone, which is generous for a touchscreen. The app performance is generally described as smooth and reliable for the core gameplay.

On distribution, there is a wrinkle familiar to US real-money poker: the iOS app is available through the Apple App Store, while the Android real-money app in several states is distributed by direct APK download from the operator rather than through the Google Play Store, because of Google’s historical restrictions on real-money gambling apps. That extra install step is a minor friction point, not a dealbreaker, but Android users should expect to sideload rather than grab it from Play. As with any app-store product, published user ratings are mixed and swing on gameplay and update decisions rather than on the app’s ability to reliably deal real-money poker, which it does well.

Real-Money WSOP vs the Free-to-Play App

Two different products, one brand

Download the state-specific real-money app or use the real-money site — not the free social WSOP app that dominates app-store search results. They look similar and share branding but are entirely separate systems with separate accounts.

This is the single most common point of confusion for newcomers, and getting it wrong wastes time. There are two completely different WSOP poker products, and only one of them is the room this review covers.

The real-money WSOP Online is the regulated poker room: you play actual poker for real cash, in the four legal states, on the 888-built Poker 8 platform, for real prizes and real bracelets. That is the product described throughout this page. The separate free-to-play WSOP app is a social casino game available nationwide and worldwide, where you play with virtual chips that have no cash value and can buy more chips as an in-app purchase. The free app offers a wide, casual game menu, daily bonus chips and avatars, and it is a fun way to learn, but you cannot win money on it and it has no connection to your real-money balance, bonus or rewards tier.

Banking

Deposits and Withdrawals

WSOP Online supports a broad menu of banking options, and because it is backed by Caesars, cashouts are reliable if not always the fastest in the industry. Available methods include:

MethodDepositWithdrawalTypical withdrawal speed
PayPalYesYes24 to 48 hours (fastest)
Play+ prepaid cardYesYes1 to 2 days
ACH / e-CheckYesYes2 to 5 business days
Visa / MastercardYesNo
PayNearMeYesNo
Casino cage (in person)YesYesSame day at the cage
Check by mailNoYes7 to 10 days

PayPal is the standout for speed, clearing withdrawals in 24 to 48 hours. A distinctive Caesars advantage is the physical casino cage option: in states with partner Caesars-affiliated casino properties, players can deposit and, crucially, collect withdrawals in cash at the cage, which is about as fast and tangible as a payout gets. The minimum deposit is generally 10 dollars. As always, expect identity verification (KYC) on your first withdrawal, which can add a one-time delay while documents are reviewed.

Support

Customer Service

Customer support at WSOP Online is handled through the standard channels for a Caesars-operated site: an online help center and FAQ, email support, and live chat, with phone support available in some states. Responsiveness is generally adequate rather than exceptional, in line with what you would expect from a large corporate operator rather than a boutique room. Because WSOP is tied into the broader Caesars Rewards and support infrastructure, account and payment issues route through established systems. For urgent in-play issues, live chat is the fastest route. Support hours and available channels can vary by state, so check the help section inside your state’s client for the current contact options.

Safety

Safety, Security, Licensing and Ownership

On the questions that matter most, is my money safe and is the game fair, WSOP Online is about as reassuring as US online poker gets, precisely because it is state-regulated and backed by a public company.

Ownership and the WSOP brand sale. This is where most WSOP reviews are simply out of date, so it is worth getting exactly right. WSOP Online is operated by Caesars Entertainment, Inc., one of the largest casino companies in the world, which launched the room under its Caesars Interactive Entertainment arm in 2013. Caesars, however, no longer owns the World Series of Poker brand. In October 2024, NSUS Group, the Korea-based parent of GGPoker, purchased the WSOP name, trademarks and intellectual property from Caesars for 500 million dollars. As part of that deal Caesars kept a perpetual license to continue operating WSOP Online in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, and it continues to run the live World Series festival in Las Vegas. So the brand and the operator are now two different companies.

What does that mean for you today? In practical terms, nothing has changed: the same Caesars-operated site runs on the same infrastructure under the same four state licenses, your account, funds and rewards are unaffected, and the room is still backed by a heavily capitalized, publicly accountable operator rather than an anonymous offshore entity. The interesting part is the future. The company that now owns the WSOP brand is also the parent of GGPoker, the largest online poker network in the world. That creates a genuine long-term question no rival room faces: the brand’s owner operates a rival global platform, and could in theory push to move WSOP.com onto GGPoker’s technology down the line if the license arrangement ever allowed it. There is no announced plan to do so, and Caesars’ license is perpetual, but it is the structural storyline worth watching.

Regulation. The site holds a separate license in each state and answers to that state’s regulator: the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the Michigan Gaming Control Board. These are government agencies with the power to audit the operator, mandate responsible-gaming tools, and act on player complaints. This is the fundamental safety difference between WSOP Online and any offshore site: a real US regulator stands behind it.

Fund protection. Player balances are held in segregated accounts, kept separate from WSOP’s operational funds, so your bankroll is protected and not commingled with the company’s working capital. This segregation is a regulatory requirement in the licensed states.

Fair play and security. The platform uses modern SSL encryption for data in transit and advanced anti-fraud and anti-collusion monitoring. As a state-regulated operator on certified software, the random number generator and game integrity are subject to regulatory testing, and the room runs security and game-integrity systems to detect bots and collusion. Combined with mandatory age (21-plus) and geolocation verification on every session, this is a genuinely locked-down environment compared with the unregulated alternatives.

Responsible Gaming Tools

As a state-regulated operator, WSOP Online is required to provide responsible-gaming controls, and they are more robust than anything an offshore site offers. Players can set deposit limits, wagering limits, session-time limits and loss limits directly in their account, take a self-imposed cooling-off period, or self-exclude for a fixed term or permanently. Each state also maintains its own self-exclusion program administered by the regulator, and enrolling blocks you from all licensed operators in that state, not just WSOP. The site posts problem-gambling helpline information and links to support resources. These tools exist because a government regulator mandates them, which is a concrete, everyday example of why regulated play is safer than the unregulated alternative.

Ecosystem

The Caesars Ecosystem Advantage

WSOP Online does not exist in isolation; it is one node in the sprawling Caesars Entertainment ecosystem, and that connection produces perks a standalone poker room cannot. The most tangible is the bridge to live poker. Because Caesars operates both WSOP.com and the live World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, the online room runs satellites that award seats into live WSOP bracelet events and WSOP Circuit stops, letting a player win their way from a small online buy-in to a chair at the sport’s biggest live festival. That online-to-live pipeline is unique to this brand.

The second advantage is the Caesars Rewards tie-in, and it is genuinely undercovered. WSOP.com play plugs into Caesars Rewards, the same loyalty program that runs across Caesars’ national network of hotels and casinos, which means the tier credits and rewards you build grinding poker online can be recognized and redeemed in person at Caesars and WSOP properties in Las Vegas and beyond, on hotel stays, dining and more. No internet-only poker room can offer a land-based redemption path like that. The third advantage is purely physical: in states with Caesars-affiliated casino properties, WSOP players can walk up to the cage to deposit or, more importantly, collect a withdrawal in cash the same day. Together, the live-poker pipeline, the cross-redeemable loyalty program and the casino-cage banking make this ecosystem a real differentiator rather than marketing gloss.

Compare

WSOP Online vs the Competition

How does WSOP stack up against the other regulated US rooms in 2026? The competitive picture is tight at the top. Industry revenue data from early 2026 showed WSOP essentially tied with its main rivals among the leading US online poker sites, so no single room runs away with the market. The differences are about footprint, software and game texture.

The takeaways: WSOP wins on reach, thanks to its four-state pool and its Nevada monopoly, and on prestige, as the only bracelet room. PokerStars generally wins on software, with a faster, more polished client and more forgiving HUD tolerance in the states where it operates. BetMGM competes on game softness, pulling recreational crossover traffic from its enormous sportsbook and casino customer base. WSOP shares the soft-game reputation, its fields sweetened by the recreational players the World Series name pulls in. If your top priority is liquidity, tournaments and prestige, WSOP leads; if it is cutting-edge software and tracking tools, a rival may suit you better.

Bottom Line

Who WSOP.com Is Best For

WSOP Online is the clear top choice for a few specific players. If you live in Nevada, it is effectively your only real-money option, and a good one. If you are a tournament player anywhere in the four states who dreams of a bracelet or wants the biggest guaranteed prize pools in regulated US poker, nothing else competes. And if you value the security of a Caesars-backed, state-regulated site over the wilder features of offshore rooms, WSOP delivers.

It is a weaker fit for hardcore grinders who depend on advanced HUDs and cutting-edge table software, for mixed-game and Stud players, and for high-stakes cash specialists who need consistently full nosebleed tables. Those players may prefer to compare the room against the PokerStars network, which offers more modern software in the states where it operates. WSOP.com in 2026 is defined by one unmatched advantage and one persistent weakness. The advantage is scale: the only four-state shared player pool in regulated US online poker, the only source of real online WSOP bracelets, seven-figure guarantees, record fields, and the trust of a Caesars-backed operator with a track record dating to 2013. The weakness is the software: a stable but dated 888-built client with limited HUD support and a trimmed game selection. For the great majority of American players who can access it, especially tournament players and Nevada residents, those trade-offs land firmly in WSOP’s favor. It is not the slickest room, but it is the biggest, the most storied, and the safest legal way to chase a bracelet from home. For most US players in a legal state, WSOP Online is the room to beat.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is WSOP.com legal?

Yes. WSOP Online is fully licensed and regulated for real money in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, each by that state’s gaming authority. You must be at least 21 and physically located within a licensed state to play. It is not legal or available in states that have not regulated online poker.

What states share a player pool on WSOP.com?

All four legal states now share one pool: Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Pennsylvania was the last to join, on April 28, 2025, creating the first four-state shared network in US online poker history under MSIGA.

Can you really win a WSOP bracelet online?

Yes. WSOP.com is the only US online room that awards genuine World Series of Poker gold bracelets, through its domestic WSOP Online Bracelet Series, which typically runs summer and fall editions across the four-state network.

Who owns WSOP.com?

It is a split. WSOP Online is operated by Caesars Entertainment, Inc., which runs it under a perpetual license and also operates the live World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The WSOP brand itself is now owned by NSUS Group, the parent of GGPoker, which bought the name and intellectual property from Caesars for 500 million dollars in October 2024. Nothing changed for players day to day, but the brand and the operator are now two different companies. The site runs on the Poker 8 platform built by 888poker.

How much is the WSOP.com welcome bonus?

The standard offer is a 100 percent first-deposit match up to 1,000 dollars, released incrementally as you earn loyalty points, plus up to 100 dollars in free play (the free-play portion is not offered in Nevada). Terms vary by state and promotional period.

Is my money safe on WSOP.com?

Yes. Player balances are held in segregated accounts separate from company funds, the site is regulated by each state’s gaming authority, and it is backed by Caesars Entertainment, a major public casino company. It is far safer than any unregulated offshore alternative.

Does WSOP.com have a mobile app?

Yes, native real-money iOS and Android apps in all four states, supporting cash games, tournaments, Sit and Gos and Jackpot Sit and Gos with cross-device account sync. On Android, the real-money app is often installed by direct APK download rather than through Google Play.
