Yes. Fanatics Sportsbook is legal, licensed and regulated in every state where it operates. The company holds a separate license in each market and answers to that state’s gaming regulator, such as the Ohio Casino Control Commission, the New York State Gaming Commission, the Michigan Gaming Control Board, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and equivalent agencies elsewhere. Fanatics did not build its market access one state at a time the slow way. It bought the U.S. business of PointsBet, which already held licenses and market-access agreements in more than a dozen states, and migrated those customers and approvals onto the Fanatics platform. Fanatics keeps its cashier simple, charges no fees of its own and funds most deposits instantly. The exact menu varies by state, and the one constant is that credit cards are not accepted anywhere, which has become common across the industry. What is genuinely unusual is that Fanatics offers buy-now-pay-later deposits through Sezzle and Afterpay, a feature you will not find at other major U.S. sportsbooks. Treat that option with caution, since funding a betting account with installment credit can encourage spending beyond your means.

A few practical points. Reports on the exact minimum vary between $5 and $10 depending on the method and state, so check the figure shown in your app before you fund. Once a deposit clears verification, the money is available to bet immediately, with no holding period. Because the match pays whether your bet wins or loses and the playthrough is light, this is more flexible than a single all-or-nothing first bet. The main catch is that the 10-day clock does not pause, and FanCash issued through this promotion expires seven days after it lands, so plan to use it promptly.

It is a complete rather than flashy hockey menu, solid for the core markets most bettors want.

Although not a single pro league, college sports deserve a mention because Fanatics treats them seriously. The college football section is robust, and the college basketball menus are deep through the regular season and especially the NCAA Tournament, where the cross-promotion between betting and apparel makes Fanatics a natural March destination. Note that player prop availability on college sports varies by state because some states restrict college props.

Beyond the big five, Fanatics covers soccer, tennis, golf, MMA and motorsports including NASCAR and F1, reflecting apparel deals across MLS, NASCAR, golf and even the WWE. It runs a strong tennis menu, but coverage of niche international sports such as cricket, rugby, darts, handball and snooker is thin or absent, and the soccer menu carries fewer leagues than the largest books.

The biggest omissions are teasers and round robins, which were not available at the time of review.

Fanatics prices most markets close to the industry standard. The house edge on main markets runs roughly in line with DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM, sometimes a touch higher on baseball and sometimes lower than BetMGM. The book stands out for NFL alternate spreads and totals, where it posts dozens of lines per game at a low hold, and its futures pricing on events such as conference championships has been better than average. The practical takeaway is that Fanatics belongs on a line shopper’s phone, both for those alternate lines and because FanCash plus Fair Play together lower your effective cost on every bet.

In-play menus are solid for major events, with lines that update quickly and pricing close to pregame, typically only a few cents of extra juice. There is no dedicated live-only section to browse, and the absence of streaming and microbetting keeps Fanatics a step behind the live-betting leaders for now.

The Fanatics Casino is built into the same app and is available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
