Caesars New Orleans Revenue Jumps 30% in September

  • Caesars New Orleans took in $25,398,865 in September, up 30.4% from $19,483,745 in September 2025 and 5.7% above August.
  • The three riverboats in the State Police’s New Orleans market combined for $22,135,968, up 0.7%, so the casino alone out-earned them.
  • Fiscal-year-to-date revenue is up 13.2% to $75,369,622, with September supplying about two-thirds of the $8.8 million gain.
  • Fees due to the state were $5,342,466 in both Septembers, so the 30.4% revenue gain added nothing to that line.

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana State Police’s monthly land-based report put Caesars New Orleans revenue for September 2026 at $25,398,865, a 30.4% rise from $19,483,745 in September 2025. The three riverboats in the agency’s New Orleans market combined for $22,135,968, up 0.7%.

Caesars Won $3.3 Million More Than Three Riverboats

Caesars New Orleans is the only casino in the State Police’s land-based report, one of the monthly state filings tracked across USA gambling sites. Its September revenue exceeded the riverboats’ combined total by $3,262,897.

Treasure Chest won $11,923,156, down 3.4%. Boomtown N.O. won $7,336,043, up 2.6%, and its operator, PENN Entertainment, has proposed that Boomtown Casino goes ashore as Hollywood Casino New Orleans. Amelia Belle won $2,876,769, up 15.7%.

Together, Caesars and the three riverboats won about $47.5 million, up 14.6% from $41.5 million a year earlier. Caesars supplied roughly 97% of that $6.1 million increase, and its share of the combined total rose to 53.4% from 47.0%. From August, the riverboat market fell 7.8% as Treasure Chest dropped 13.4%, while Caesars rose 5.7%.

September 2025 Had Fallen 24.5% From August

The State Police’s September 2025 report shows Caesars New Orleans won $19,483,745 that month, 24.5% below August 2025’s $25,796,776. This September’s total is 1.5% below that August figure and 5.7% above August 2026’s $24,025,647.

Year-over-year changes this fiscal year have run from down 6.9% in August to up 21.7% in July, according to the State Police’s July and August reports, before September’s 30.4%.

Fiscal-year revenue through September is up 13.2% to $75,369,622 from $66,590,858, a gain of $8,778,764 of which September supplied $5,915,120. The fiscal-year rate smooths those swings.

Revenue Per Admission Rose 22.6% In September

Admissions rose 6.3% to 256,949 from 241,747 in September 2025. Revenue per admission climbed to $98.85 from $80.60, a 22.6% increase calculated from the reports’ figures.

Through the fiscal year, admissions are up 3.3% to 751,603 and revenue per admission is up 9.6% to $100.28. Most of the growth therefore came from more revenue per admission rather than more admissions.

Fees Due Held At $5,342,466

The State Police listed fees due of $5,342,466 for both Septembers, though revenue was $19,483,745 in 2025 and $25,398,865 this year. Fiscal-year-to-date fees are $16,383,561 in both years.

The September figure equals 30 days of a $65 million annual minimum. Act 171 of 2019 set the casino’s minimum compensation to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board at the greater of 18.5% of gross revenue or $65 million for fiscal years beginning April 1, 2022, according to the act’s legislative digest.

Fees due therefore equaled 21.0% of September revenue, down from 27.4% a year earlier. The 18.5% prong would exceed the $65 million minimum only above roughly $351 million in annual revenue, so growth below that level leaves the minimum payment unchanged.
